Rebuilt starters could be bad out of the box but that would be a long shot. Jump start the car to get it running. Use a multi-meter and make sure the alternator is charging at least 14 volts, or slightly more, to the battery. If the alternator is charging then suspect a parasitic drain, but it would have to be rather large to kill a new battery in one day.
