Can't find the problem

Asked by james Nov 03, 2017 at 05:37 PM about the 2002 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It has a new motor almost everything on it is new
including alot of sensors but cranks fine for the
most part but when it first cranks for about 30
mins after every 10 mins it shudders looses alot of
power and acts like the choke is engaging or it's
flooding for about 2 to 3 mins then goes back to
normal sometimes it does it for hrs and some
times only once but it's getting really old spending
money on this and nothing helps need help before I
give up and sell it

Strange that no CEL code was given? I would probably check the fuel filter first. I would replace it since it's feeding your new motor anyway. Did you have to replace any bad vacuum hoses? I can't think of anything else except maybe bad gas, since it's not throwing a CEL.
