02 f150 coil

My 02 f150 5.4 Triton started missing, I put it on a
computer and it says all 8 of my coils are bad. I had
replaced the 1,3,7 about 4 or months earlier. What could be
the problem here?

Did you change the boots along with the coil. If the boots are cracked, they'll short. Check the resistance on the coil. Should be about 1.8 or so, but check the specs to make sure. If the coil check alright, remove the boot, remove the spring, spray electrical contact cleaner inside the hole for the spring and clean. Put a little dialectric grease inside. Let dry and reinstall.
