There was an engine change in 2004 and I think they also changed from a 4 speed automatic to a 5 speed. I would look at 2000 to 2003 transmissions.
thank you ..now wanting to give us a 2000 year Triton motor transmission off the 5.4 wondering will it interchange with our 2002 4.6 transmission
junk yard keeps giving wrong transmission was wondering what years match up...the 2006 and early 2004 transmission bolts up but the gears don't....
