I have a 2002 F150 4/4 automatic. When driving down the road my gauges all of them will start flipping up and down then go dead completely. After about 10-20 miles up the road they return to normal.

Main ground is bad or battery has low voltage due to the same...Clean the terminals and clean the surfaces where the negative lead is grounded. Check your voltage at the battery, when running, and then check it at rest. Make sure that alternator is properly (clean and secure) connected and charging at 14v. You are likely to find your gremlin among those checks. Consider replacing that battery if the alternator is properly charging and the grounds are all good. You CAN DO IT!
