No power to my f150

I thought my battery was dead but when I
charged it,it fired right up,but windows and
head lights and interior light are also not
working and battery was smoking I checked
the battery for fluid only one cell had fluids
so my husband filled them and jumped it
again and it started right up drove ten feet
an it completely shut off

Take ur battery to ur local auto parts store and have it checked, it may be shorted. If it checks out good, check ur truck for short circuits. Connect only positive battery terminal tightly, place negative cable just touching the negative battery terminal, if it sparks really bad, u have short somewhere, start removing fuse til it doesn't spark. It should only spark lightly due to some accessories running but not so bad that u can actually hear a loud spark
