01 f150xlt 4x4 Boggs down sometimes

Asked by Turbob20 Jul 10, 2018 at 10:29 AM about the 2001 Ford F-150 XLT Extended Cab 4WD SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay so I have an 01 f150xlt 4x4
extended cab with 180xxx. Over
the past 2 years or so the truck
wants to act up  as in sometimes it
will drive normal an sometimes it
will bog down when in the throttle.
Especially going uphill. But I've
noticed when it does this if I put
the accelerator to the floor for a
couple seconds raising high rpms
an then let off to where I'm barely
on the throttle it will start acting
normal again. An sometimes it
won't work. Note over the past 2
years I have repeatedly replaced
spark plugs an coil packs an
repeated times on a scanner to
clear codes . But I think I may have
narrowed it down to either clogged
cats. Bad o2 sensors. Fuel pump
or fuel filters. Please help.....
