why does my 2001 f150 run good in park but then when put in drive stalls out

Possibly the idle aid control valve. clogged air filter. Probably runs well in neutral also. Fuel/air mixture is the problem. Does the engine respond to racing in neutral or park? There is no load on the engine when not in a gear.

Guru95KPTT Same here! Driving me nuts. I’ve replaced the IAC, injectors, egr, fuel filter, fuel pump. At least it’s running good now but when I shift into reverse or drive...dead.
