Tire shake

Asked by Sammipalmer Mar 03, 2019 at 06:59 PM about the 2000 Ford F-150 XL 4WD Extended Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I get between 25 and 45 mph my front
passenger tire starts shaking really bad. It looks
like I'm trying to turn but I'm not, it just shakes back
and forth. Anyone have some hints what it might
be?

Check lug nuts. Then take it to a tire shop and have them check out the suspension for broken/damaged parts. Could be a safety issue there.

Could be a hundred different things. From a broken belt on a tire to worn suspension parts. Hornet had the right idea.
