Possible fuel filter?

When I excelerate fast it starts bogging out on me..  
it runs fine when I’m in town, once I hit about 45
every time I press the excelerator it starts spitting
and spuddering  on me. Any ideas!

It also isn’t throwing a code... I’ve tried to make it throw one and it hasn’t...

Yup. Sounds like a plugged cat. Have a muffler shop do a back pressure test and make sure your engine does not have a misfire as a misfire will ruin cats.

    Where is the fuel filter on a 1989 F150? Is it on the frame rail or on the passenger side of the motor? 302 EFI. If that helps any.

    I replaced the fuel pump. I replaced the fuel filter. I turn the key and the fuel pump turns on. But the truck still will not start. It turns over but will not fire up. Please help
