2002 Chevy Cavalier: Won't Start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ignition switch went out (got stuck in the on position), replaced ignition switch
to find out i drained my battery, got battery recharged and now car wont start.
I have done tons of trouble shooting from information I have looked up and
can't find a reason why it's not starting. Can someone help?

If the switch was changed without programming the new key that could be the problem ... Take the old key and hold it as close as you can to the new tumbler while you crank with the new key in place .. The security pick up may pick up your old keys code .. if it does then Google "programming a new key" for instructions
