The air conditioner in my 99 Ford f150 will only
blow out of the floor vents and not the dash !! Help
what's wrong?

The distribution flap to regulate the air top and bottom is inop. Either vacuum or electric motor is not working at the flapper. Unfortunately many of these wonderful parts are really hard to access under the dash. Sometimes you can reach under the area and find some object keeping it from operating but usually it's a broken motor/loose vacuum line or tiny gear in a vent door motor that is the issue. I also had a light bulb go off in my brain, I thought about dry rotted hoses and saw a YouTube video of a guy having the same problem.. low and behold I popped the hood and saw my hoses were in fact crapped out.. 4$ fix and my air conditioner works great now!!! Human 1- Ford 0!!
