1998 f150 leak

Asked by Bigtrav5T Jan 28, 2016 at 08:34 PM about the 1998 Ford F-150 STD LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just changed fuel pump on my 1998 4.6 2 wd f150 and drove for while then
overheated . I had motor off and pour water into overflow box not directly into
radiator and it came pouring out between motor in back and looked like bell
housing. Freeze plugs?

Cant really tell. Im pretty sure its the freeze plugs but was wondering what else it could be coming from in that area. Block isnt cracked and have heater bypassed

It may be just the cooling hose that goes under the intake from water pump to the rear or passanger side head
