Where is my '98 Ford F-150 leaking water/antifreeze from?

Asked by Dan Dec 07, 2017 at 06:36 PM about the 1998 Ford F-150 XLT Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had a small crack in the side of the radiator recently, so I replaced it. But now I am losing water from somewhere else, other than the upper or lower hose, they are both good. Not leaking from the heater core that I can tell. I do see a wet spot under the truck on the passenger side underneath on the lower spoiler and frame, but no idea where it may be coming from.

Rent a cooling system pressure tester from a local autoparts store and do a Google search on how to pressure test your vehicle. That should help you find the coolant leak.
