80W90 Gear lube. Unscrew plug on the side of your trans. and fill with the gear oil till it starts coming back out. Then it is full. Manuals don't actually use transmission fluid, only automatics.

Ooooops! My bad. I guess I was thinking of the 80's Ford manual trucks I used to run! Denny, ignore my post!

On the 80w90 oil for a manual transmission... How much does it usually hold? Just trying to figure out how much I need to buy so I don't have to make another trip to the store. Most of it drained out while I was pulling it out. Thank yall
