not always but sometimes it will just click or it will start. trying to start with key going to start and off several times will sometimes engage starter if you catch it in time it will start and run fine

truck wouldn't start so I tapped the starter and it started. I have since replaced the starter, solenoid (on the fender wall), ignition switch and the battery. I still only clicks.
