a/c question

Question type: General

I have a 1994 ford f150 with a 5.0l the a/c clutch
was not in gaging so jumped a wire from batt to
the hot sid of the plug on the compressor. Then
the clutch in gaged. The plug was not getting
power to it. Checked the fuse in the dash and is
good. Is there an a/c relay under the hood of this
year of truck

If it doesn't engage, it's because it's low on gas, if u jump it and there's no gas, u may mess up the compressor. Check freon pressure, probably low
