Ford F150 ignition switch on everthing works horn, heater, etc. will not start. Short out relay truck starts. Can turn off with Key.

Try starting in neutral. If not tap on starter.If still nothing you have to check for current at the starter solenoid while someone holds the key on the start position.

DO NOT TAP STARTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That year has a permanent magnet starter if hit will ruin starter, have solenoid checked, if good have electronic part of keyswitch checked
