Washed Engine Compartment Now wont start..?

Asked by Eric Jun 26, 2017 at 09:08 PM about the 1994 Ford F-150 XL 4WD Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I washed the engine compartment and it wouldnt start.
No pressure washer, just soap and water.
I let it sit for a full day in the sun with the hood up.
It acts normal then when it goes to fire up it sounds like it is missing, or the
timeing is off.  Just wont start.

Take the spark plugs wires loose to dry and take the distributor cap off as well.
