I have a 1993 F150 with a V-8. It has a miss that I can't figure out.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Had a mechanic look at it.. He said dash and gauge clusters might need replacing. The engine isn't running smooth and has this eternal miss. I have replaced plugs and wires, and both fuel pumps. It won't idle smooth and seems most noticeable at 20 - 40 mph.

Check to see if there is water in the oil. A partially blown head gasket will cause the affected cylinders to foul.
