1993 ford f150

Asked by Isaac8093 Aug 06, 2016 at 06:22 PM about the 1993 Ford F-150 XL LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1993 ford f150 4.9l inline 6. Whenever I
put it in gear the truck shakes and stalls but if you
push the gas when it is about to die It goes back to
normal but this continues while you are driving
(and if it does die the check engine light comes
on). Or if it is parked and you let it idle it is fine only
whenever you put it in gear. So I was wanting to
know what is the problem with it and how to fix it.
Thank you. (P.S. there aren't any vacuum leaks).

You'll neex a scan tool. Borrow one from ur local autoparts store if not, buy one from amazone, they have one that works with ur phone for less than $20
