1992 5.0 wont go into park or start

i replaced the ignition switch recently and it worked fine for 2 weeks until i got home and tried to shut it off but it wouldn't go into park.Now  i got got to go into park the next day i tried to start her up and i have voltage but when i try to turn the key to crank, all power dies out and wont even get a get a bad start. anybody that can help?

You probably have a poor connection on the main circut (battery, alternator, starter) or a bad ground under the hood and or to the frame
