I have a 92 F-150 with two fuel pumps,the truck cut off while I was using it, and has not started back up yet.we checked the wiring harness,fusible link,tank selector switch,initia switch,all has power were we checked,so can you guide me in another direction,anf if so is it some way I can junp the pump to make sure they are both working,and to ease my mind that grimlins did not make both pumps go out on me.thank

Hey James ... Yes, the fact that both failed simultaneously indicates the problem is probably elsewhere. I didn't see the fuel pump relay on the list of things you checked (I think). It should be about a $20 part and while I couldn't find the position of the FPR in your particular model year on the net, some suggest it is usually under the master cylinder. In any event your Chilton's (probably available at your local library)will not only show the position of the fuel pump relay, it will also help you with some troubleshooting tips on your fuel system. Go take a look ... or buy one at your local book store or parts place ... or order one from Amazon.com or ebay. Good luck!

I have the same problem but smelled like wires burning when it quit.all fuses are good..my Chilton book don't tell me nothing or show what i need to know...????
