What can be wrong with my truck if anyone can help?

Asked by Machine11 Mar 22, 2017 at 04:50 PM about the 1992 Ford F-150 STD 4WD LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My '92 Ford F-150 is smoking from the top of the engine, towards the back.
It seems to be coming from the middle area towards the back.  My truck
has a 302 with a 5 spd manual.  The truck still runs, but has no power, but
to move around a bit.  Seems to be harmful to start it up in the condition so
I have not done so much at all except to try and diagnose the problem.  No
luck.  I will be towing the truck to the shop, but I just want to know if I can
have a bush mechanic look at this or if it something more serious.  Or
Expensive.

I am not sure. I was told that it could be burnt heads or O rings. The smoke was white and seems to be exhaust itself.
