With key on you can hear the buzz of fuel
pump, this stays on and eventually quits
and the truck starts, while buzzing and try
to start it just turns over but once the
buzzing stops the truck starts. Also a note
that happens when I switch tanks.
Also once it starts it revs fine, but when
engine light comes on and I put it in drive
it’s like I am running on half power.

I would run a fuel pressure test on it. You'd have to look up what the pressure should be. I'm not sure off the top of my head. You can borrow a fuel pressure test kit from AutoZone if you don't have one. It sounds like it's taking a second for the fuel pressure to build up enough to start. If that's the case, first check the fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel lines, and the screen on the pickup tube in the tank. If your fuel pressure is ok, it's possible your injectors could be clogged or just weak. How long does the pump prime before it shuts off? It should only stay on for about 2-5 seconds, tops.
