The 9th Generation F 150 (1992 to 1996) came with the Ford C6, but the 1st generation Explorer (1992 to 1994) has a different automatic transmission, the 4 speed A4. I can't find anywhere that tells me if the bell housing bolt pattern is the same. Or not. But looking at applications for both, it looks like not.

I have 95 f150 with a 300 6. In it. The trans loses trans flud not fast but. Dos come out but i. Dont kind of trans it has so can get a. Trans kit. It also. Has a promblen with when you trun on the ac it starts to. Run like its runing out of gas and. Roufe but when you trun the ac off it takes a. Bite but start to run fine and it always. Runs at a hi idle if you try to back up it will die this will happen with or with out the ac on
