The truck cranks up good riddles good but
when I put it in gear I have to pump my foot
on peddle for it to stay running or else it will
die or ether just start running crazy then it
takes for ever to pick up speed like it got
lose of power

Would put a new fuel filter and air cleaner on and have a look at the fuel pressure. Sounds like it's starving for gas.
