Wanting to know on my 91 F150 it has a 4.9 l m f i
engine (300 in line) what is the working fuel
pressure for the fuel pump in the tanks there is two
tanks which means two fuel pumps

45-60 psi. I used to own one of these. They had a problem with the fuel pump in the rear tank overfilling the front tank, I think the fix was a new front tank pump module or a check valve in one of the tanks. I hope this helps take care.

Thanks Mike Duffy for your answer that's the realm pressure that I've been coming up with 45 to 60 PSI this is the third set of pumps since I've owned the truck but now you're thinking that's a lot of pumps it is also a truck but it has a lot of miles on it and it has hauled a lot of stuff and work very very hard and that is an understatement but what I am looking at doing cuz I'm getting tired of putting pumps in is combining the two tanks into one Via across tube and putting a external adjustable high pressure pumping and being done with it once and for all thank you again for your answer

Exactly. I used a Holley pump. I brazed a 1/2 in. Copper tube to the bottom of the tanks to equalize the fuel and it works great.
