It runs for awhile then itlike it choking losing power cant get over 20 mpg

When I turn it off and let it sit then
restart it ut goes but when I step on
the gas it like its choking

If the check engine light is on, I would have the codes read. Sounds like you have a fuel/air mixture issue. Before spending money of parts, I would start by buying some throttle body cleaner and cleaning the throttle body and Idle Air Control valve. Then buy some MAF cleaner by CRC and clean your Mass Air Flow sensor. See if that makes a difference. If no check engine light, post back with results.
