Power steering

Asked by Blue1990 Nov 24, 2019 at 08:16 AM about the 1990 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1990 ford f 150 lariat xlt 2wd 5.0 with
the 302. I replaced my power steering pump
because it went out and after installing
everything my truck makes that noise as if it
has little to no fluid. That winding sound. I
replaced the high pressure hose as well and I
have turned the wheel all the way to each side
for a few days and have driven it around. Any
idea how I can fix it?

What type of fluid did you use in the replacement pump?
