Question type: General

The van has 2 fuel tanks. It has a switch under the steering column, front and
rear, for the gas tanks. I have replaced the spark plugs,alternator,battery,3
relays, the fuel pump and the fuel regulator. When i step on the gas it started.I
drove it and after 5-6 minutes it started to stall. I had to pull over  and let it sit.It
started again and then it started to stall again,i smelled no gas. It was making a
sound. My son said it wasn't backfiring,it was from under the hood, from the
sparkplugs. I need to know where the fuel pump shut off switch is located? Does it
just shut off by itself when one of the gas tanks gets hot or what?

no FP shut off on a van, sounds like the fuel filter needs replaceing or the FP is getting week, also the cat converter could be stoped up causeing it to shut down.
