What engine do u have now and what are u planning to put in it?
Well long has its the same u should be good. I would check the engine mount locations. Bc even tho the engines are the same the body may be slightly different. Problems u will face if u dont lable everything. Forgetting where the wiring harnness goes again. (Im swaping my 98 dodge ram 5.2 for a 5.9 6 valve cummings... Didnt lable as much as i should an now im stuck) but I dont see to much of a problem with this. Sounds like a great project.
So the computer and wiring harness will match? Sorry, nervous never have done this kind of thing before.
That is some problems. With a newer engine. U might have to send the pcm in for an upgrade to run this new engine. (That I cant tell u. I dont wanna be wrong) wiring harness should match. But again with a newer engine there could be some problems. Give a shop a call an ask them. Thats what i did at times to get answers. Hopefully someone will give more advice. Normaly same model same size engine all will go well. Even tho the engines are the same some parts could be slightly different (upgraded). From my experiance with 3 years ASE civilian certified an 5 years military mechanics. I havent had any problems swaping engins.
