My heat is not coming out very good...the dealer said they have to go in through the glove box and may cost $100 to $200...how do I attempt to fix and or locate the problem?

sounds like they have diagnosed a bad heater core. it is behind the dash on the glove box side. the only thing to try would be to have the system flushed and clean everything out and see if that helps. if they replace the heater core, they should clean out the system too. ask them if their work is guaranteed. 200 bucks parts and labor doesn't sound to bad for this job.
