My stereo does not work or have any power. Everything else in the car works So I don't think it's the anti theft sysystem. It's a 2003 malibu. If I just put a new one in will It work.

Check your fuses sounds like one is blown or it could just be unhooked

I've checked those too I'll check again. But is it possible the stereo is just junk

Check the fuses in the back of the head unit those seem to go out a lot

i took my 2000 chevy malibu to the dealer to fix the anti theft system fix . the gave me a new ignition and the boot . they did not fix the problem but they took my $497.00 and told me my car is over to years old after they took my money. dealer on silver spring in milwaukee, wi 1 Answer
