ford f250 questions?

Question type: General

good morning. i recently have become interested in a 2000 f250. in my
reasearch i have not really been able to find the mpg of the 5.4 6.0 and 7.3. i
think the 5.4 is a gasser. after i tune it what mpg should i expect to get?

The 5.4 is probably around 15 highway, the 7.3 (stock) may be a bit higher. The 6.0 was not an option. The v10 is probably 12 to 14 highway. Fuel economy also depends on the final drive ratio. These numbers also assume you have stock sized tires and drive at a reasonable speed (unloaded).

if i was to put on 35s on the 7.3 what should I expect in gas mileage? would it increase if I tuned it?

A tuner probably will not help the fuel economy. I would expect low teens with a 7.3 and 35's. If you are worried about fuel money this is not the truck for you.
