Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am trying to fix my 03 Chevy Cavalier all the
sudden yesterday I went to go start my car and it
won't start I have a side mounted battery that I
believe is not secure enough in there because it's
held by a bungee cord so I'm not sure if all the
sudden the battery is loose or if I got some other
issue I'm just curious as to what you may think it
may be

First confirm battery is connected well and terminals & terminal wires are not bad, along with battery ground wire to frame and engine ground to frame is good and if it all is good, have battery tested. May can use a jump box to crank it a see if battery holds a charge but be sure all connections are good and if terminal wires are in poor condition put new on it. Test alternator too.
