Any time you mess with the suspension, the alignment should be checked, especially if you have good tires on the vehicle.

The shocks are a strut assembly, so they will change the dynamics of the rear suspension. It would be wise to have the alignment checked.

This vehicle has struts Bob, my friend, or I wouldn't have mentioned it. I see my wording was not that good.

Your wording was fine. I was just putting information out there.

Can you drive a 2002 chevy cavalier with no rear suspension at all without anything else happening to the car ??
