Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The indecater light of my battery came on
yesturday it is a new battery. I checked the wires
they are tight. When I bought the car it did not have
a battery due to it was croted. When I stop at the
light or if I stop light light hose off then when I start
driving again it comes back on. Could it be my

Check and see if you are getting correct charging voltage at the alternator and the battery...yes it could be alternator and/or alternator wires connections....I assumed the word "croted" in your post means corroded. so with previously corroded wires i would check all electrical connections on the battery and charging system connections. also look for corroded wires where the connectors connect to the wires...
