what are the three buttons for that are on the drivers sun visor?

Three little buttons on the drivers side sun visor. When I press them the little light near them lights but I don't see anything else happening!!  What are they fore?

It sounds like you are talking about the factory homelink buttons. They are used for opening/closing garage doors

Thanks! I just got a beautiful mint condition car but those three little buttons have been making me crazy! Lol

After assigning one button for the garage door opener, can you use the remaining two for something else like turning on some garage lights?
