I would start with checking your fuses, I beieve the fuse box on your e class is located under the hood.

...but assuming the fuses are okay? what then...take it to the component level...and test each component for continuity~...and power to each device...I guess...with an ohm meter, so we know which component to replace~

indicators and windscreen washers are both operated on the same stalk. They do tend to be a failure component. Start at the stalk, I'm 99% certain this is where your problem lies.
