Naomi, supposing that the ball bearings have to be replaced and that there is a problem with the four wheel drive case or system, the repairs will be expensive. Any one that you know, with knowledge, tested the truck before you bought it? Maybe the seller knew about the problems and never disclosed it to you. Did you purchase from private party or a dealer? Call the seller and tell him what is happening and ask if this ever happened before. Unless you have a written warranty, once money changes hands there is nothing that you can do.
