transmission, it ti worth fixing

Car has 156,00o miles..
I need your opinion.
Mechanic said it needs new tranmission and alternatior
Total repair: $3,000
Exterior in excellent condition, upgraded wheels
Is this car worth fixing?

Go for it, if the exterior is in excellant condition, than the car will be good for lots of years to come!

i dunno probably to late to answer for ya but i have a blue on blue 71,000 factory mile one with sunroof and i see them on youtube with 105,000 miles for $1400

Pick up a used transmission with less miles than yours for about $900. No need to buy one new. Search online for salvage yards that have em for your model and year. Some yards will even give you a 30 day warranty, so you can install it, drive it like you stole it and if it breaks give you another one.
