i would check fuses 1st then have codes checked it could be Ignition Module, i think you have a cam sensor to

Have good fuel pres. I do have a theft deterrent code not sure what that is

I scanned it with code reader can't remember what no. It was said it was theft deterrnt was activated no other codes were stored I cycled the key 10 min. On. turned key off turned back on for 10 min. Tried to start it still nothing.

i will have to look for a wiring diagram to see how we can check for power to the ignition module how are you checking for spark also the fuel pressure

Found that the small ground wire on the front of motor was broken. Where it goes into the harness. Not sure what that wire goes to. Boy What a headache. Thanks for helping me your answers are appreciated .tk. Starts right up

I just had the EXACT same issue with my 2004 escalade limousine. There is a very small ground wire close to the frame close to the crankshaft position sensor that corroded and had a very small wire. This wire appeared to be attached through the connector but if you pulled on it you would see that it was not attached. This is why it would have an intermittent issue because sometimes it would be touching and sometimes it would not. We cut the wire added a new connector and it was fixed. This small ground is used to allow spark to the sensor. Stupid place for such an important part and it is extremely small for being so important.

Anyone have any success...? Ive got 05 suburban.. cranks wont start... only runs for a few seconds with starter fluid amd dies.... HELP
