My radio has no sound and now my windows don't work in my 2007 honda ridgeline rtx

Asked by GuruVZML5 Aug 05, 2018 at 06:50 PM about the 2007 Honda Ridgeline RTX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok, so I bought better speakers for the back of my
Ridgeline. No biggie, or so I thought. After putting them in
and tested them, they work great. Now the rear driver's side
window went down but won't go back up. I have checked
every single fuse repeatedly. So I took it off the motor and
put it up manually. Now, I have no sound in my radio. Again
with the fuses. I bought a replacement aftermarket Pioneer
to put in and figured I would let the window go for now. So I
put it in. Still no sound. Everything seems to be working. I
checked and rechecked. Took the speakers out. Put them
back. Now none of my windows work except the back
glass. And still no sound. I'm pulling my hair out on this
one. Please help...

I suspect you pulled a wire loose from the window switches when you worked on it.
