2007 Honda Accord Issues after Battery Replacement

Asked by AlaricBloodmoon Jan 11, 2018 at 03:13 PM about the 2007 Honda Accord LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I got my battery changed recently and after the change I noticed the
following stopped working, it's more odd due to what does work in the same
area.

Turn signals (Hazard Lights work)
High beams (Low Beams work)
Wiper mist setting (second click down works)
Wiper first click
Headlight indicator (Lights are on, but dash doesn't display this information
hazards show up)
Door power locks (Windows and auto unlock when closing the driver side
door with the car on still work)

Car has an auto start, but functions on the remote still work, it still attempts
to turn over the engine, and the unlock/lock still attempts to unlock/lock(the
car horn honks in response)

Fuses both interior and exterior are both all in tact. I've attempted the
Press&Hold 1 and 6 for 20-30 seconds and it never shows up asking for a
code(though the radio works perfectly fine)

I think a memory saver should have been used when the batt, was disconnected , who replaced the batt, ? If it was all good then I'd have to blame them

It was all god beforehand, no memory savor was used, it was done at Auto Zone. They continually give me the run around about the issue, I've probably talked to everyone in the store(I was there for over an hour after the battery was changed) when I was there they just handed me a fuse checker and after that a socket wrench, but couldn't give me a substantial answer or made themselves available to help beyond that. Just hoping I can do something to fix it without bringing it to a mechanic.

were you right there when they did it ? nothing arced or sparked ? you need a technician not a mechanic
