theft light

Asked by tworushfans2112 Dec 13, 2019 at 08:49 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Malibu LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

theft light stays on all the time. car runs and works but the light will not turn off.
on a couple of occasions we had the car not start because of the theft system
and did what you have told people to do. But the damn light stays on constantly.
Is there anything I can do myself to get the light off besides put electrical tape
over it.

You need to have your local Chevrolet Dealer fix it correctly. Hope that helps! Jim
