Very dangerous! Help traction control

Asked by TheHawk213 Sep 21, 2019 at 04:10 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Impala SS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 04 Chevy impala. No lights are on FYI.
I slide in the rain when brakes are applied. I
slid about 10 ft on hill. Tires lock up and I
slide....very dangerous. How do I disable
abs? Or does this model even have that
system? As I said no lights indicate they’re
on. There’s no wiring harness behind wheel
hub or anything. Is there something else
wrong? Pls help!

Have the brakes inspected as there is an issue with your vehicle.
