Why is my 2004 chevy impala running hot after i put a new thermostat n water pump on it?

Was it running hot before the new t-stat and water pump? If so your radiator may be dirty so I would do a radiator flush. Replace the hoses while you are at it. Here is a video to help you --- https://www.youtube.com/watch?x-yt- ts=1422579428&v=7w3fFNSMFLw&x-yt-cl=85114404
