My 2004 Chevy Impala LS won't start. It won't even crank

Asked by Bobby Oct 31, 2020 at 06:17 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Impala LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently was in an accident and had to pay 1000 to get a
new right rear knee assembly and new rear brake lines. I
drove it home the night it was done about an hour away
from my house and it started perfectly fine, but the next
morning...nothing. All electronics work, I got the battery
test and it's good, relay for the starter is good, the starter
itself, I took it out and had it tested and it is good also, the
connection also look good. I am at a complete loss. I really
need some advice

Try starting it in neutral. If that gets you going it's the neutral safety switch. If not, I'd suspect the security system or possibly the BCM (Body Control Module). Hope that helps! Jim
