Temperature Meter

I have a chevy impala,  when driving the
temperature meter stays below 200 but once i stop
at a stop sign and sit a little love the meter goes
over 200 to 207 but no check engine light or sign
of overheating

Sounds like your radiator fan is not working..let the car idle and check if the fan comes on..if it doesnt and the car starts overheating turn the car off

I let the car run for about 5 minutes, the temperature meter didnt go up so the fan didnt come on but as soon as i put the ac on, yhe fan started running
